A music recording is the physical or digital preservation of a musical performance, allowing it to be permanently stored and reproduced. It serves as a permanent, shareable capture of sound waves, separating the performance from the exact moment it happened. CC: Google AI
Mixing in music is the process of taking individual recorded audio tracks (like vocals, drums, and guitars) and blending them together into a single, cohesive track. The goal is to ensure every part sounds clear, balanced, and serves the emotional impact of the song. CC: Google AI
Mastering is the final step in audio post-production. It is the process of putting the final polish on a finished mix, ensuring the music sounds cohesive, balanced, and optimised for consistent playback across all devices and streaming platforms. CC: Google AI
